'Origin' is a hybrid experience where physical meets with technology that created for utmost audience involvement. We are proud to present Tatko's Digital Museum with its roots that tributes to its century-old foundations. The journey begins when the experimenter finds four different elements that symbols of Tatko's century-old history with hand gestures. Then the experiencer finds himself in a visual flow that contains all the moments that create Tatko's culture. A visual feast from the concept design to the creative direction, software and hardware implementation where a century old story of Tatko has been told with devotion making it a true story telling, where the viewer is not only informed but is also offered an interactive experience. In order to establish such moments consisting of layers of a 100 year historical accumulation with visual and physical aids and truly understand the roots of Tatko; we, as Alegori, also had to turn into our roots and seek for the true essence of a being. We had to find where it all started not just for ourselves but Tatko as well; we had to find the initial moment, The Origin.

"Portraits on The LIRA"
If it wasn’t for what had happened on the 30th of August 1922, modern Turkey would’ve never existed. The beginning of an inspiring republic's story bloomed on that day that needed to be told, taught and celebrated for years. Today, on its 99th anniversary, we used the best language that we know of to tell the story of our Victory Day; visual art and cutting-edge technology.
Following the footsteps of our great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his vision we, Alegori team, worked hard to take our approach and vision to the next level with utmost attention to detail for this special day’s anniversary. This glorious story couldn't be shown on anything but giant led screens which will let the audience take in every emotion that is passed by. We are also proud to be integrating AR technology into this visual feast with Epic's Unreal Engine for a hyper-real experience and a better narration. With a team of the unstoppable amount of desire to produce nothing but the best, we are more than privileged to present you our very first project on this magnificent day.

To commemorate our great national day in great honor; we created a digital monument of bravery!
There stands this monument; constituted of bloodless figures of Turkish men, women, elderly, and children who have lost their lives for a great purpose in one of the most heroic turning points of Turkish history.
Knowing that it took a four-year independence war and thousands of courageous Turkish patriots under Ataturk’s leadership to build the Turkish Republic from ashes and ruins; we consider it our utmost duty and responsibility to protect and pursue the republic of ours.
In honor of this treasure we have been blessed with, we created this art-piece digitally in an innovative way to cherish our past with today's opportunities that we've been given. The work is an artistic expression of our eternal respect and gratitude to our great leader Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, and all the nameless heroes who have sacrificed themselves for our independence, equality, and justice.
Republic is courage, the republic is struggle, freedom, future; and the republic is Ataturk!

HUMACHINE v.02 is a 'Robotic Arm Enhanced Immersive Experience' based upon the human-machine interaction for the celebration of 60 years of MESS, the path they've taken along those years and their vision of future. This evolution throughout 60 years is told in a 6 minutes long unique 3d animation on 200 square-meters of led canvas, 3 performers and 6 led panels carried and moved by giant robotic arms.
The project aimed to reflect the human machine interaction in the age of transformation. As industry 5.0 approaching it was extremely important to show the process of blue collar workers' adaptation to work alongside the smart machines. In order to reflect this process in the best manner, the robotic arms were accompanied by performers.
Though the robotic arms' movement and speed are designed for industrial use only, we needed them to move against their nature. To achieve this, we ought to be following a more diverse route for the pipeline rather than our conventional ways. The robotic arms' characteristics for maneuver and the movement has made us to come up with 20 different versions of 3D choreography using different engines in order to meet at a common plane both for our concept and the Kukas' capabilities.
To introduce the 3D choreography to the robotic arms with a minimum latency and maximum efficiency needed hundreds of hours of work and multiple programming softwares but one of the best part of the projects was to have 6 giant Kukas in our studio and having the chance to work on them directly.
It was a sheer pleasure and a challenge at the same time to code the giant robotic arms in a way to make six of them work perfectly synchronized. Tens of hours of conceptual design, 2 months of robotic coding and 3d animation, greenbox shootings, countless rehearsals has paid of with this breathtaking exhibit.

AI-Enhanced Cyber-Physical Drone Art: Humachine
We envision a future where creating art is becoming independent of human capabilities except the limitless creativity.
This is the very first test result of ‘AI-Enhanced Cyber-Physical Drone Art:Humachine’ that we've been working on for a while. *All visuals in the project are generated realtime using the drones’ spatial/motion analysis data.
60 years ago, American computer scientist J.C.R. Licklider proposed a prescient dream of computing devices combined with human brains.
That vision has inspired a generation of scientists and engineers, and is essentially the basis of our artistic approach today. The work is inspired by Lickliders' vision for a complementary relationship between humans and machines, in other words; the idea of technology as an enabler of human capabilities.
This experiment was aiming to use the artificial intelligence as an extension of the human body and practice it as a tool of indirect self-expression.
A new interface developed by our team enabled us to create a hybrid connection between the micro drones, performer and a computer.
The micro drones were interconnected by droneswarm systems however it was a real challenge to let the drones know their exact positions to each other and to the performer since the project was held indoors and the use of GPS tracking was impossible. We trained the micro drones' tracking system here using mocap technology and a local positioning system, which we obtained using the spatial / motion analysis, 3 different coding languages, and a game engine. The human-machine symbiosis made the creation of previously unattained form of expression possible.
It is very motivating to be able to carry the already existing drone swarm system to another and bespoke level for our specific needs. As first output; the human abilities are enhanced and a new form of artistic expression is attained. Now we began to see human and machine as complete partners in artistic creation through a symbiotic relationship and we're very excited to explore the potential opportunities abound!

Digital renovation of the Byzantine zero-mile marker, the starting-place for the measurement of distances for all the roads leading to the cities of the Byzantine Empire.
The Milion Stone has known as the ‘center of the world’ during the Byzantine Empire.
Distances to all corners of the Byzantine Empire were once measured starting from this points.
Unfortunately, today we can see only the surviving fragment of this historically very in Sultanahmet, Istanbul.
Important heritage of the Byzantium Empire. This is the digital renovation study of the Million Stone.

In this project, it is aimed to explain the innovative approach of Turkish leather and the mastery and culture that it combines with advanced technologies.
The entrance of the exhibition is a tunnel where a documentary about the 600-year history of the leather is reflected. At the end of the tunnel, there is a kinetic wall that is sensitive to human movement, furnished with red leather shoes, an installation consisting of hologram and leather jacket designs reflecting the four seasons of the leather.
